3 things I just want to quickly pass on to you all and ask your opinion on too!
- Big hello to all my new subscribers. I really appreciate the fact you’ve gone to the trouble to subscribe to us to get our take on what’s going on in the world and stepping away from the mainstream media.
- If you’re in a position to contribute to our cause please do consider doing so. This can be done via PayPal or our Patreon. Most of us waste a couple of dollars here and there a month in our daily lives, why not redirect some of that our way? Roll up a fiver and throw it up the Internet to us!
- Did you know we have a podcast? If you didn’t, you do now! The General Knowledge Podcast has been going strong since September 2018! We do regular shows and tackle all the current issues. We have international and local guests as well as myself and Andy from Real News Australia and Ethan Nash from TOTTnews.com.
If you’re a regular to the podcast then you’ll know each season I change the intro/outro music. Season 3 is upon us in a few weeks and this time I’m giving my subscribers the opportunity to vote for which song they prefer.
Or…if you have a suggestion other subscribers can vote on them instead. Whatever has the most votes will be selected.

I chose older music because I’m a fan of it. That being said, I’m totally open to someone doing up a kick ass intro song for us to use!
The Who-Won’t Be Fooled Again or Jackson Brown-Lives in The Balance come to mind. Lives in the Balance is particularly good. Lyrics-“You might ask what it takes to remember , when you know that you’ve seen it before . When a government lies to it’s people , and country is drifting to war.” The song also has a haunting intro.

I think for your podcast theme however, #2 Empire – Birds Of Tokyo – is my pick.
It’s not only very fitting for our times, but also the complexity of the lyrics represents the level of depth & intelligence you offer in your articles and podcast.
The tune is also easy on the auriculas as opposed to being fast & heavy (which I love – but we’re talking context here), which I think could be appropriate as an intro — the can opener to your ‘hard hitting’ info! 😊
