The Israeli Supreme Court has ruled that all public water fluoridation in Israel must cease by 2014.
Fluoride is a carcinogenic waste product of the aluminium mining industry and the phosphate fertiliser industry. It is also the main ingredient in rat poison, nerve gas and Prozac.
This chemical agent has been present in the water supply in America for several generations, but this sick and twisted idea actually began during the Third Reich in Nazi Germany.
In the past decade many countries throughout the world have been forced to stop fluoridating the public water supply, because people are becoming more informed about how harmful this chemical really is. It was announced recently that Israel will be the most recent government to cease the practice, promising to stop by 2014.
In 2013 the new Minister of Health Yael German has signed a new regulation setting water quality and not requiring fluoridation, that will take effect in the following year. She has insisted that it was better to provide fluoride in other ways to “target audiences” such as poor children, who were unlikely to brush their teeth regularly with fluoride toothpaste. “It must be known to you that fluoridation can cause harm to the health of the chronically ill and pregnant women,” German wrote in the letter. She argued that “only 2% of water is used for drinking by the population, with the rest used for dishwashing, bathing, industry and other uses.”

The court’s ruling is remarkable in that it goes even further than – and thus overturns – the decision taken earlier this year by Isreal’s Minister for Health, Yael German, who had legislated for an end to mandatory fluoridation, leaving the option open to local councils to fluoridate water supplies at their own discretion. Now, however, by order of the Supreme Court, fluoridation in Israel is definitively at an end. This is regarded as a crucial victory by anti-fluoridation campaigners, especially given the close diplomatic and economic links between Israel and the US – the original home of the policy of fluoridation.

“Israel is one of the few countries that widely fluoridates, besides the United States, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia.”
The list of governments who are still forcing this toxin on local populations is growing smaller by the year, reinforcing the claims that this chemical is harmful.
It is important to reiterate that fluoride is very toxic and has no health value for teeth, but even if some of the so called “experts” where correct in saying that it was benign, that would not give them the right to put a drug into everyone’s water supply.
If we want drugs in our water, we can take care of the application of those drugs ourselves, we don’t need and shouldn’t trust the government to do that for us.
