On this episode Andy joins me to go over the latest developments.
The General is under attack! It’s battle stations folks. My energy company has decided they want to upgrade my electric meter to a SMART/Digital meter. Why is this a big deal? Well basically it’s like having a WiFi router on the side of the house that’s transmitting continuously and you can’t turn it off. The health effects can be devastating. That’s among the other concerns we have such as having access to our energy usage and privacy concerns as well as control concerns.
So we are taking measures to not let this happen. My son just so happens to sleep right against the wall where this SMART meter would be installed. So we’re definitely taking a stand.
We switch gears to highlight just how ridiculous the COVID narrative is getting where excess deaths due to heart attacks and other serious issues is now being blamed on the weather! That’s right, Melbourne’s ever changing weather is apparently altering the DNA and gene expression of people living in that region of the country!
Of course they completely ignore the fact that the majority of the people living there received a gene altering vaccine! That of course must have nothing to do with it (Can you feel my eyes rolling?)
And speaking of weather… remember when we spoke to weathermodificationhistory.com & climateviewer.com‘s Jim Lee from South Carolina on the season finale episode of season 4? If you recall he mentioned something called ‘Marine Cloud Brightening’ which is occurring on the Great Barrier Reef right now. Well, our wonderful leaders in the Queensland Government have no knowledge of this.
Ethan’s latest article “Not Aware”: QLD MP comments on current geoengineering programs highlights how even our Minister for the Environment & Great Barrier Reef declared, in writing, that no geo-engineering has taken place in Queensland since 2012.
It this a blatant lie? Or is it sheer ignorance? Andy and I go over it to discuss what’s going on in Ethan’s absence.

My sympathies regarding the smart meter. Our energy wholesaler has been hassling us for several years to get a smart meter. We refused and until we make a particular modification on our property they can’t install the meter. However, they sent us a letter and as of July 2023, we will be billed a quarterly fee of $34.80 to have our meter read – with the fee increasing each year. Just wonderful! There’s also a digital water meter in the pipeline too (bad joke).

Yeah I saw some water meter info on them being upgraded to smart ones too. Not good.
I actually saw a spot on the origin energy app or website where you can submit a meter read by taking a photo and uploading it. Maybe this is an option for you?
Thanks I will take a look, though as I mentioned the letter came from the wholesaler not the retailer and they have stated that they will be billing us for reading our meter.
That to me is odd. Why would the wholesaler read the meter and not the retailer? Strange. Maybe if the retailer allows a meter read submission by the customer it would negate the wholesaler fee?
Probably the way in Vic. I will contact the retailer about the meter submission but I doubt they will be able to help.
I got the same “meter upgrade” email from Origin Energy on 16th January. I am in regional South Australia. They had my changeover scheduled for 7th February. I simply emailed to advise them of my objection (on privacy and health concerns) and let them know that they did not have permission to proceed. I got this response: “Currently we are changing many meters over to a smart meter as part of a rollout to get more smart meters on the wall.”
They supplied a link to the government propaganda on smart metres where you can be directed to the helpful conclusion that “there is no established scientific evidence that the low level RF EME exposure from smart meters causes any health effects including symptoms of ill health communicated by some people.” Wow, thanks for that vague conclusion government, if ever I want to evade an issue altogether I will come to you for tips.
Origin didn’t address the privacy concern whatsoever. In fact this was dismissed as being entirely a benefit where they brazenly admit “we are able to get reads hourly rather than every 3 months”. I mean, who wouldn’t want want a meter that “send outs your power usage via the internet, using the 4G Network”?
Origin did give me an easy opt out: “If still wish to continue with cancelling this meter exchange, please reply to this email.” Naturally I confirmed I wanted the scheduled changeover cancelled.

I ended up calling them and had some success with canceling the upgrade.

Thanks General & Andy, another good GKP, including valuable advice on how to prevent “smart meter” installation. I haven’t watched tell-lie-vision for a couple of years, except for replays of “Inspector Morse” and “A Touch of Frost”, and several World Cup matches.
