TONY Abbott has refused to rule out tax hikes in his first budget under a new deficit levy to fix Labor’s debt mess.
The Prime Minister today said he would not “squib the challenge” of repairing the budget.
Asked to respond to reports in News Corp Sunday papers today that he was considering a deficit levy Mr Abbott said he would not comment on specific measures but said any changes would be “fair”.
“This was probably the most disastrous government in our history. It’s important the mess be tackled,” he said.

Absolute crap!…… balancing what budget?
The ‘Budget” is a fairy tale and analogous to a hollywood drama movie that tells just part of the truth to convince that the whole is the truth.
We have been conned by this crap about ‘Budget’ whilst our debt to the International Bankers has and will increase until we become another Greece.
We Australians have been paying an interest for some fifty years now on loans from overseas banks who create this money out of thin air (Read G.E Griffins works) when we can coin our own money as a Nation.
The International Banks own us and the only way they can get their ‘pound of flesh’ is to keep increasing taxation that will ensure a constant interest flow to their coffers on a fairy tale money loan.
You must understand that you, and your family, are the collateral for this debt and the contract that you never signed, was your birth certificate…. your parents signed it on your behalf, unwittingly, placing you into into the slavery of Commercial Law….. another con!
