LNP popularity in decline after Redcliffe by-election result.

(Real News Australia) Whenever a political party loses points in the polls they inevitably play one of their trump cards to help regain lost popularity and make it appear as though they’re doing their job.
Today is no different. Queensland Attorney General Jarrod Bleijie has revealed that “frightening” information has come to his attention regarding pedophile rings operating in Queensland. This information was presented to Mr Bleijie by Ken Levy, the head of the Crime and Misconduct Commission.
Instead of revealing the information to the public so we can learn to better protect our children, Mr Bleijie is instead using it as a PR stunt to again try and garner support for the controversial, drastically unpopular and unconstitutional VLAD law saying that pedophiles may now fall subject to the penalties associated under the VLAD laws.
There’s a couple of interesting points to note:
- Is the so called “frightening” information presented by Ken Levy of the CMC about pedophile rings within the public services? After all, the CMC is chartered to handle crime and misconduct in the public service.
- Is the main stream media now going to change what they wrongfully call the “anti bikie laws” to the “anti pedophile laws”?
- Is there a likelihood now that the general public will begin to associate bikies with pedophiles due to Mr Bleijie’s statement?
Mr Angelo Garozzo, owner/operator of the Caloundra Tattoo Studio, seems to agree with the last point.
“He is putting us in the same basket as pedophiles now to try and taint us and also to try and sway the public into accepting these draconian laws”, said Mr Garozzo.
