An article published by Tony Moore, the senior reporter of brisbanetimes.com.au (a Fairfax Company) is again a clear example of how the mainstream media manipulates public perception of water fluoridation. The article in question here is heavily skewed towards water fluoridation proponents.
There is but one tiny sentence at the end of the article which offers readers a view of the other side of the fence. It reads;
Its opponents, including the Fluoride Action Network, say it should not be given to children and has caused increasing bone cancers in the United States.
Readers get the impression that it’s a problem for children in America. No mention of who the opponents actually are. There are literally thousands of professionals in the scientific community all over the world from doctors to dentists, university professors to Nobel Prize winning Laureates whom are against the practice of water fluoridation.
The article mentioned instead goes on to show readers that a Federal MP, who was a practicing dentist in the 1980’s, believes that democracy got it wrong and that representative government failed us.
I beg to differ. It appears Councillors are now voting as their constituents are demanding. So far a total of 6 Queensland regional councils have voted to end putting toxic waste into our drinking water.
They are:
Tablelands
South Burnett
Cairns
Burdekin
Bundaberg
With Fraser Coast being the latest one as recent as February 20th. Now that many of the outer lying regions surrounding Brisbane are beginning to cease water fluoridation, it may be the domino effect those of us in the anti-fluoridation community have been waiting for.
There is still much work to be done and 2 main factors are involved.
1) Creating awareness and educating the public about water fluoridation. Talk to people, bring the topic up and give them hard hitting facts. A good start is the Fluoride Action Network.
2) Pointing out the spin. If we can show examples of how the mainstream media is deliberately manipulating public perception and showing bias towards having our water poisoned, then it will be easier to get through to people.
Another domino positioned to fall is the Gold Coast City Council region. If there is any chance of getting this toxic waste out of the Brisbane water supply this is it.
One other point people should understand is that those of us who are against water fluoridation have nothing to gain other than our health. Who knows, perhaps one day cleaner, safer water may be enjoyed for years to come by all and our children will not have to worry about the side effects of this mass medication of the public.

Slipping into the role of Devil’s Advocate (given a lack of research into the matter, I have no opinion on the flouridation of water by any level of government), I do have to ask whether the motivation behind Tony Moore writing this article was one of bias or rather one of reporting on the issue after the Fraser Coast Council voted to stop flouridation.
My suggestion is that the Brisbane Times editor or Moore himself decided to contact John-Paul Langbroek on account of his previous career as a dentist to get his comments on the Fraser Coast Council’s very recent decision. As the article mentions, Mr Langbroek was “free to express his own view on the issue” (admittedly sad when in a democracy you have to have permission to comment on a topic you do at least have experience in). What makes the BT article newsworthy is that a leading state politician has spoken on the record about disagreeing (as much as he tries to dance around it) with a decision his government has made.
Your point would be better made if the article had been talking about a decision yet to be made, rather than one already made. The former is the perfect place to acknowledge arguments from both sides; the latter people’s reactions to the decision. Suggesting that Mr Moore would “tow the party line” so to speak I’m sure would be rather offensive to him as a professional.

Like heavy metals fluoride is accumulative in the body.

The ADA asked for $200,000 and received $220,000 from Bligh’s Health Minister, Stephen Robertson to promote ‘fluoridation’ and their pals at the AMA sent a letter to Dr. Jeannette young, Chief Health Officer Queensland Health extract from FOI :-
“The AMA believes the ‘strategic approach’ referred to in your letter must be for Government to mandate water fluoridation throughout the State. The approach to encourage individual councils to adopt fluoridation of their own volition has failed.”
Some view this allegedly, as tantamount to ‘conspiring’ to ‘mandate’ ‘water fluoridation’ and you must take no other action but to ban ‘water fluoridation/pollution’ urgently, irrevocably and for all time.

The recent claim by Queensland Health’s chief medical officer Jeanette Young that fluoridation is one of the few areas in medicine that is, “absolutely black and white”, should raise concerns with people prepared to hear both sides of the fluoridation debate.
Anyone with the slightest familiarity with this subject knows that since the 1930s when U.S. scientists opposing fluoridation had their career paths blocked by the authorities, this has been one of the most controversial – and widely opposed – of all medical agendas. Since Queensland Health evidently deny the existence of the huge evidence against fluoridating public water supplies their role as supposed “experts” on the subject must be seriously questioned.
Jeanette Young’s specifying fluoridation as being an, “area in medicine”, endorses, albeit unintentionally, the concerns of Toowoomba councillors that fluoridation amounts to nothing less than mass medication. Any decent code of patients’ rights includes that no-one should be medicated without their informed consent.
Anyone seeking documented evidence condemning fluoridation need only read one of the many books on the subject such as Christopher Bryson’s “The Fluoride Deception”.

Thank you sincerely for publishing factual information on fluoridation in this and previous articles – and for exposing the blatant bias of the mainstream media on this topic. Sadly so much of the general public is still very uninformed, and the media and “health authorities” are doing their best to keep it that way. But despite all their efforts, our hard work in fighting this scourge is gradually bearing fruit, with nine Queensland councils covering thirty towns now having opted out of fluoridation.
Our gratitude must go to the courageous politicians led by Jason Woodforth, who did their homework, and laid their jobs on the line to truly represent their communities’ best interests. Michael Trout, member for Barron River in North Qld deserves special mention too. Once he was given the facts, he worked tirelessly to educate other MPs, and along with Jason and one or two others, took up the issue with government leaders.
Regarding your proposal to do an article on Aspartame – great idea. You’ll find excellent information on Dr Russell Blaylock’s website. This former neurosurgeon also exposes the dangers of fluoride and vaccines.

Extract: 2 Policy . 2.1 Water Fluoridation The Australian Dental Association recommends :
2.1.5 That Governments must adopt water fluoridation as part of Health Policy and actively promote its introduction, where it is feasible, as a public health measure.
WHO GAVE THE ADA (& AMA) THE POLITICAL POWER TO CHRONICALLY POISON A NATION?? With decades of water fluoridation/pollution and we are in dental crisis, why do you think the ADA & their associates continue with this fraud?

The Public Right to know
The ADA asked for $200,000 and received $220,000 from Bligh’s Health Minister, Stephen Robertson to promote ‘fluoridation’ and their pals at the AMA sent a letter to Dr. Jeannette young, Chief Health Officer Queensland Health extract from FOI :-
“The AMA believes the ‘strategic approach’ referred to in your letter must be for Government to mandate water fluoridation throughout the State. The approach to encourage individual councils to adopt fluoridation of their own volition has failed.”
Some view this allegedly, as tantamount to ‘conspiring’ to ‘mandate’ ‘water fluoridation’ and you must take no other action but to ban ‘water fluoridation/pollution’ urgently, irrevocably and for all time.

The only answer EVER was to provide access to affordable dental health care services for all the population, not the disposal of hazardous waste pollutants from phosphate fertiliser industries into our drinking water supplies and hence also the contamination of our food chain and using the populations’ kidneys as toxic waste disposal/filtration units.
End the Fluoridation Fraud now and ban water fluoridation urgently and irrevocably for all time.
The Australian Fluoridation Dictatorship must be broken and banned for all time.
